UPDATES ABOUT APPOINTMENTS
  • The waiting room is still closed, including all seating.
  • Please follow the BLUE dots to check-in for your appointment.
  • One parent (wearing a mask) may accompany their child back for their appointment.
  • Please follow the YELLOW dots to check-out for your appointment.
  • You may schedule your next appointment before you leave.
  • Please exit the building through the back door.

Please note: We are no longer calling patients directly to schedule their next appointment. Please feel free to call the front desk and we'll get you scheduled.

BRACES PATIENTS and BROKEN BRACKETS

We are unable to fix broken brackets if we do not know about them ahead of time. If you do not give us advance notice of a broken bracket during the rescheduling process, you will need to come back to the office for an additional appointment. This is an infection control issue, not a convenience issue on our end, so we appreciate your understanding.

EXTENDED TREATMENT CONCLUSION DATES

Given the delay of 8 weeks, you should plan on your treatment extending 1–2 months beyond the expected treatment conclusion date. We are truly sorry about this. Know that your beautiful and lasting smile will be worth the wait!

PATIENTS WITH RETAINERS

Finally, for those patients wearing retainers, we will reach out to reschedule your appointment. Please know that we will be pushing retainer checks out 3–4 months in order to make room in the schedule for those undergoing active orthodontic treatment. That said, if you are having a problem with your retainer (or you have lost them), please give us a call ASAP.

Thank you all for your patience, understanding, and support! We can't thank you enough for doing your part to help us keep everyone safe and healthy.

We have missed you!

Dr. Penna and your entire Penna Orthodontics Team
